FIRE TRUCK FOR SALE: 1978 Pierce mini-pumper; built on a 1976 Dodge 4x4 power wagon. 318 motor, 4-speed transmission, 6376 actual miles, 250-gallon water tank, and 400-gallon per minute PTO pump. This truck is being sold as is and the District reserves the right to remove the emergency lights and sirens and fire department signage as is deemed necessary. There are no guarantees or warrantees; minimum bid $5000. Sealed bids will be accepted by the District through Friday, March 19, 2010; and can be mailed to PO Box 178, Avoca, WI 53506-0178. Bids will be opened at the March 23, 2010, meeting of the District Board at the Fire Station Meeting Hall, 406 East Main Street, Avoca, WI 53506, at approximately 7 PM.
